Dear Anne. I wanted to drop you a line to thank you personally for your support and contribution to the East Midlands May Day Summit. It was a great day and your contribution as presenter made the day all that more interesting and meaningful. I really hope that the May Day Summit proves to be the catalyst in helping business to become a force for change on this most important issue. In the spirit of the event, I am sending you this by email (rather than printing it!). This does not diminish my sense of appreciation to you for taking part. With my best wishes.

Anne brings that extra special ingredient which is essential when the goal is to capture the imagination and attention of others. When the utmost credibility and professionalism is at the top of your requirements, Anne proved exactly what we were looking for in a credible ambassador, with a familiar face to many and real fond fan base of followers built up over many years of British television, news, Breakfast TV and Travel Channels. Anne adds her unmistakable sparkle to her work and it is this uniqueness that makes such a huge impact. Working with Anne has been a delight and we look forward to continuing to do so. Our results and returns have been measurable and have exceeded even our expectations, when promoting our business and simultaneously the overall success of tourism in Malta.

Thank you Anne for being such a great supporter of and presence at our April Fete at Langar Hall. Your enthusiasm for the day was infectious so everyone, from grannies on trollies to kids on donkeys had a great British day out. We raised over 10k for Colston Bassett School and the Dove Cottage Day Hospice, so thanks Anne for not just taking, but being a part of our April Fete.

We had a wonderful event here in Quorn last night and Anne made a huge contribution. She is such a consummate professional and lit up the stage with her presence. We thank her so much for giving up her time to come along and be the icing on Quorn’s cake. She is a firm favourite here and we hope to see her again soon.

What an absolute star Anne Davies is! Anne brings to our TV screens something very special indeed. Her glamorous, lively and sparkly personality shines through in every broadcast, but her outstanding skill is that of an outside broadcast presenter on BBC Children in Need where she is so comfortable in such a high-pressure environment. As the programme flits from one region to another on this hectic night every November, calm and professionalism prevail in the East Midlands as Anne delivers a faultless resume of what funds have been raised by special people across the region. I always feel so proud that the East Midlands has the very best OB presenter of the night! Well done Annie!

I am writing on behalf of emda to thank you for joining us at the HighGrowth East Midlands awards ceremony last week. As a flagship programme for emda, it was particularly important for the evening to be a great success and create a lasting impact. The role of host is particularly crucial in delivering a memorable and enjoyable awards ceremony and I would like to pass on my thanks for your professionalism and humour on the night. It was an enjoyable evening for all involved and has set us a very high benchmark for future awards organised by emda. HighGrowth East Midlands is part of emda’s plans to create a ‘Flourishing Region’. I can see from the events of the night that we are progressing in that goal and I appreciate your key role in helping to make our awards evening a great success.
