CHAMPIONING THE NEXT GENERATION. ONE OF THE MOST STYLISH AND GLAMOROUS EVENTS EVER HELD IN THE EAST MIDLANDS. A BRAND NEW EVENT ATTRACTING MAXIMUM PUBLICITY. TWO MICHELIN STAR FOOD IN UNFORGETTABLE SURROUNDINGS.
FASHANNE is the very first East Midlands Fashion Awards. Inspired by NewYork’s famous Met Ball, TV presenter Anne Davies and Emma the Duchess of Rutland have joined forces to present the very best of the East Midlands. Our most talented fashion students will compete for a place at a two day fashion exhibition judged by a panel of fashion, film, TV and YouTube royalty. And then, the culmination – a glittering evening at Belvoir Castle on June 23rd.
A unique gala night in a magnificent castle in the presence of the Duchess of Rutland and high profile celebrities. A Champagne reception. A magnificent five course dinner featuring a signature dish from Sat Bains our very own two Michelin star celebrity chef. An exotic running fashion show selected from the very best in the East Midlands.
The beautiful and iconic Belvoir Castle is our venue. A champagne reception precedes a candlelit dinner beneath ancient portraits as models sashay past dressed by this country’s top up and coming designers.
We want to support and showcase the regions incredible young talent. Contributing £46 billion into the UK economy the world of fashion is growing every year. Not only that, it is also a world synonymous with every form of art – reaching every strata of society from high streets to palaces. Who knows what opportunities being at FASHANNE at Belvoir Castle could bring you. We are home to some of the country’s top fashion universities, but, until now, we have not celebrated this. That is about to change and you could be at the forefront of what we believe will become a prestigious fixture in the social calendar of the East Midlands.
FASHANNE is supported by all our top universities. Students from De Montfort University in Leicester, Nottingham Trent University, Loughborough University, Northampton University, Derby University and Lincoln University are putting forward their top students to compete for two East Midlands awards. Their work will be on view to the public in a special exhibition throughout the castle in the days running up to our gala night, before forming part of a fabulous fashion show that will entertain your guests throughout the evening. Our universities are thrilled to be a part of this event as indeed are the students who are already preparing. It is high time, they say, that the East Midlands showcased the extensive talent it nurtures.
Rainbows Children’s Hospice will be the main beneficiary. Not only is the Duchess the President of this wonderful charity but I am also a patron. Having spent time there in the company of staff and families I know that there is no price that can be put on the extraordinary work they do. Rainbows is a place of joy. It gives families in the greatest need a haven to spend time with the children they love. Their support during what is often one of the most painful times in parents lives is beyond words and I am thrilled that, with your help, we are able to do something to support them.
Talks are underway regarding the filming of the whole event for a TV programme – we will be able to reveal the details of this in the next few weeks. If you would like to be a part of this spectacular event, tickets at £200 each are available from the FASHANNE website www.fashanne.com, or if there is any more information you require please do not hesitate to get in touch with Laura on firstname.lastname@example.org
We look forward to hearing from you.
